Get to Know Melica Khorassani, Esq.
Melica Khorassani is an Associate Attorney at Provinziano & Associates. She earned her J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law (UNLV) and her B.A. from UCLA.
During law school, Melica focused her training on family law and survivor advocacy. As a Student Attorney certified under Nevada Supreme Court Rule 49.3 with the UNLV Survivor Representation & Advocacy Clinic, she represented survivors in protection-order and family-law matters, drafted pleadings, negotiated safety-focused custody and visitation terms, and advocated for clients at court hearings while under supervision in court. As a Student Mediator in the UNLV Family Mediation Practicum, she facilitated parenting-time and co-parenting agreements in divorce cases, learning settlement dynamics and child-centered problem solving. Melica also served as a Notes Editor for the UNLV Gaming Law Journal, refining the research, cite-checking, and persuasive writing skills she now brings to DVROs, RFOs, and motion practice.
Outside the office, Melica enjoys reading, playing video games, and watching Korean dramas and anime.
