Sunney is a Senior Associate Attorney at Provinziano & Associates. She is a gifted negotiator and a fierce advocate for her clients, bringing more than 19 years of sophisticated legal representation to the most complex and high-conflict family law matters. Sunney has devoted her career to guiding clients through some of the most contentious cases imaginable, having built her reputation representing high-profile clients in Chicago before bringing that experience to Los Angeles’ family courts.
Sunney’s path to family law is deeply personal. As the child of a complex and contentious divorce, she understands firsthand the toll that custody disputes and prolonged litigation take on families, and she brings that perspective to every case she handles. That personal insight, combined with her prior experience at a forensic accounting firm, gives Sunney a rare and valuable perspective when it comes to untangling the complicated financial issues at the heart of high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth divorces. She is able explain even the most complex financial matters in terms her clients can readily understand.

Sunney studied journalism at the University of Colorado before earning a scholarship to attend the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she graduated in 2007. She has been a member of the Illinois Bar since 2007 and was admitted to the California Bar in 2022.
